The Gift
Original artwork produced during the art residency in Spain, June 2025.
 
Between them, the bowl becomes more than a vessel—it is a symbol of exchange, offering, and mutual recognition. The oranges, bright and tangible, uncertain boundaries of the figures, grounding the composition in a moment of shared presence.
This piece explores the tension and harmony between opposites: cool and warm, stillness and energy, self and other. The act of giving becomes central—not just as a transfer of objects, but as a gesture of connection across difference.
